Independent Robotics shows off Insight Engine technology to key partners
Independent Robotics continues to innovate and push the frontier of robotics. The company is proud to field the best talent with heavy expertise in Integrating mechatronics, AI, ML, computer vision and human-robot interfaces as well as developing full-stack real-time robotic systems for multiple domains and Deep neural networks, reinforcement learning, model based and model free RL systems.
We have a suite of hardware products already in use with customers across different sectors, includiing the Aqua2 AUV and Skipper ASV. This has positioned us to identify maritime use cases for a key area of technological development: AI mission executing.
With access limited to preserve first-user advantage; our new InsightEngine is an agnostic AI/ML software system, modular in form, that can be applied to any ROS operating system vehicle or simulator. It was developed recognising that data exploitation is key to value-driven missions and capabilities, and there are huge multiplying gains that can be made when AI assists the robot vehicle in the live-exploitation of mission data. This is a game-changer in search/find use cases allowing in-mission autonomous decision-making and alleviating the need for humans to troll through the whole mission raw footage to search with the human eye.
We are very excited by this new technology which is currently undergoing reliability testing on our flagship Aqua2 AUV before being delivered to the first clients and 3rd party collaborators.
