we strive to create advanced systems for autonomous machines to do what humans cannot

“Despite remarkable progress in AI, it sits locked up in a virtual black boxes and is yet to be grounded in the real physical world”

IR's vision is to advance technology that connect AI to the physical world, both for our own hardware products and demonstrators, and to multiply the advantage and value by sharing that intelligence to robotic platforms.

We are pushing the frontier of AI and robotics capabilities

Deploying practical solutions that help people

Enhancing robotics to make the world safer, and easier

“by pioneering maritime robotics, we are bringing industry 4.0 and a new breadth of data to underwater enterprises."

Our team

We have assembled, and will continue to grow, a team of genuine experts from different backgrounds to solve the uniquely interdisciplinary challenges of robotics.

Our technical staff have backgrounds in robotics, AI, machine learning, computer science and Engineering from top-tier Universities.  We have recognised experts in robot visual perception, underwater robotics, machine learning, reinforcement learning, robot locomotion, human-robot interaction, satellite manoeuvring, and their practical implications.

In total, a combined 100+ years of experience in robotics, AI, mechatronics and their application.

“we have deep connections in Robotics and ML/AI spaces as well as access to a well-developed community of researchers and IP networks - which gives up the ability to recruit top talent”

We have many things that make us tick as an organization, but some key areas allow us to be successful on that frontier of cutting-edge innovative technology

Everything we do must be scalable and repeatable

We are not working for ourselves – but to leave a positive legacy of a safer easier and more accessible world for humans.  Therefore, even our smallest actions are completed with others in mind

Our core values

Intellectual and Engineering Excellence

We are operating at the cutting edge of hardware and software in the harshest environments.  Our engineering and design has to be both ground-breaking, resilient, and anchored in the scenarios of real-world and dependent end-users

We move at a speed of relevance

To stay where we belong, at the frontier of new robotics and human-robot interaction, we must strive to move and pivot at pace to meet the expectations of our human customers who need our solutions now

Our heritage and people are our strength

Our founders came from different walks of life to build something truly unique. Our diversity, open minds and fresh perspectives help us see further, innovate, and achieve greater
