Independent Robotics tackle the Ocean Supercluster

Specializing in easy-to-operate autonomous surface and underwater technologies for complex tasks in challenging environments, IR developed the Aqua2, an autonomous robot submersible. IR has showcased and demonstrated their Aqua2 at prestigious events: CANSEC 2024 in Ottawa, Oceanology International in London, McGill Robotics, the 21st Annual Marine Field Trials at McGill University in Barbados, and others, also gaining well-deserved attention from the Quebec press (https://bit.ly/3xgGE3f).

The companies has been an active participant in Canada's Ocean Supercluster and is currently leading projects in Visual Assessment and Autonomous Robotic Capabilities. Aqua2 has the potential to revolutionize fish health monitoring, water quality, and infrastructure assessment in aquaculture net pens. IR recently joined AquaAction's third AquaEntrepreneur cohort. And they successfully completed a program with the Royal Canadian Navy | Marine royale canadienne last year.
